Rosehip

I made jam today! It was the first time in my life I made a kind of marmelade and it turned out to be pretty easy. But my jam was not made out of fruit…

I picked rosehips along the side of the road!
Now doesn’t that match with Peony, or does it.
It was a hell of a job to clean and cut all those little hips.

But eventually I got my sweet reward.
Rozebottel means rosehip in Dutch.
I already tried some jam on my sandwiches, and it’s gooooood autumn food.
